Skateboarding Magazine Spread
The goal of this project was to encapsulate a culture or subculture that I am unfamiliar with. I chose to study skating culture. I studied content from various web articles and visual representations, to then display in the format of a magazine spread.
I originally planned to make this project in the format of a pamphlet, but realized my information would better suit a magazine spread. These are my very early drafts of how I anticipated laying out my work. Some sections eventually got cut, like the schedule of a skater.
